Stu's Rig

We get a lot of questions about the setup Stu uses and how he gets the amazing sound that he does. Well. In a nut shell, it is mostly talent! He does not use much in the way of effects. Here's his setup.

Bass(es): Fender Stu Hamm Urge and Urge II's with various strings. Most common: "Mel" - the red sparkle Urge II with GHS Boomers .045-.105's

Amp & Cab: Hartke 4x10 cab with Hartke 5500 head. Flat eq, sometimes a little lift on the low end.
Stu used to play Peavey rigs, but he is now back with Hartke. Effects: Boss Delay, SansAmp distortion, Digitech Bass Whammy for octaves . He uses a Korg Pandora every now and then.

EQ: Pretty much flat with a little lift on the low end.
